The Ahava Project is a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit serving women and children in domestic violence shelters through practical support, community drives, and partnerships.
Because of the generosity of our supporters, volunteers, and community partners, The Ahava Project was able to bring practical help and encouragement to women and children experiencing domestic violence throughout 2025.
Through school supply drives, Gifts of Dignity care packages, and our Christmas toy drive, thousands of brand-new items were delivered to families rebuilding their lives in local shelters.
We are grateful for every person who helped make this possible.
When families enter a domestic violence shelter, their lives have often been turned upside down overnight.
Children are always the innocent ones in these situations. Many leave home suddenly, sometimes without being able to bring their favorite toy, blanket, or the small things that once made them feel safe. The same is often true for the surviving parent, who may arrive with little more than the clothes they are wearing.
In those moments, even simple things can matter deeply.
The Ahava Project exists to help bridge that gap, bringing practical support, compassion, and hope to women, men and children rebuilding their lives.
We partner with organizations that serve survivors of domestic violence, helping meet practical needs for women, men and children rebuilding their lives.
Throughout the year we organize community drives — including school supply drives, toy drives, and other donation campaigns — mobilizing local businesses, churches, and volunteers to provide brand-new items for families in shelters.
Through our Gifts of Dignity drives, we provide carefully prepared care packages filled with essential items, clothing, and thoughtful gifts for women and children living in domestic violence shelters. These items help restore dignity, comfort, and encouragement during a difficult season.
We are also developing a new initiative called PS91, focused on expanding how communities support survivors beyond immediate needs. This initiative will help connect individuals, churches, and local organizations to walk alongside families as they begin rebuilding their lives.
We believe generosity deserves transparency and accountability. The Ahava Project is committed to responsible stewardship of every donation and resource entrusted to us.
